SCHEME OF EXAMINATION

Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation is followed from Class I to X.

A student is assessed not only in terms of his knowledge about a subject but his participation in various activities also. Assessment of a student is done formally or informally using different techniques of evaluation, throughout the year. Broadly, a student’s performance is assessed in two areas - Scholastic & Co-scholastic

I – V

Internal Assessment throughout each term.

I – III: Experiential learning methodology Curriculum is followed to assess the students.

IV & V: A school session is divided into three terms & each term consists of two assessments both Scholastic & Co-scholastic

VI – X

A school session is divided into two Terms :

First Term – April to September (Weightage – 50%)

FA1 10%
FA2 10%
SA1 20%
SA2 30%

Second Term – October to March (Weightage – 50%)

FA1 10%
FA2 10%
SA1 20%
SA2 30%

VI – X

As per the prescribed CBSE guidelines:

A school session is divided into two Terms :

Weightage – 50% from 1st Term + 50% from 2nd Term = 100%

Important Notes:

Students are required to appear for all the examinations as scheduled. Students absent for an examination for any reason whatsoever will not be re-examined. In case of absence due to illness, a medical certificate will be required. Absence for any other reason will not be accepted.
